IT support for accounting and tax firms in Asheville and Western NC.

Your team handles sensitive client files and runs on deadlines. N45 helps independent Western North Carolina firms keep their accounts, computers, backups, and vendor handoffs clear and dependable.

Small gaps become busy-day problems.

  • Client-file access

Review how staff sign in, share files, and leave the firm. Make access changes clear and repeatable.

  • Seasonal capacity

Prepare accounts and devices for new hires and temporary staff, then remove access promptly when work ends.

  • Recovery ownership

Document the systems and vendors the firm depends on, what is backed up, and who coordinates the next step.

Keep the firm working through change and deadlines.

We begin with the everyday technology your team depends on: Microsoft 365, work computers, network access, backups, and the people responsible for each system. We can coordinate with tax-software vendors while keeping scope and responsibility explicit.

Tax professionals are responsible for their written information security plan. N45 can help review and document specific technical controls; the Microsoft 365 review is not a complete WISP or a compliance certification.

A clear first step for Microsoft 365.

For teams of roughly 5–25 users, N45's $495 prepaid, read-only Microsoft 365 Security Triage checks sign-in protection, former users' access, forwarding, sharing, sender verification, and backup coverage. You receive a plain-English scorecard and five prioritized actions within 24 hours of the review.

We start with a 15-minute fit call. Booking does not purchase the review, and no settings are changed during it.

Questions before we talk?

What happens before support work starts?

We agree on the systems, tasks, service hours, response expectations, and vendor responsibilities in scope before work starts. A focused project can begin with account cleanup, documentation, or a Microsoft 365 review. Ongoing support and daytime coverage are defined separately for your practice.

Do you work with our tax software?

We can coordinate troubleshooting with your tax-software provider and support the computers, accounts, network, and access around it. Product-specific administration is scoped with the vendor and your team.

Does the $495 review cover our whole security plan?

No. It is a read-only Microsoft 365 review for roughly 5–25 users, with a scorecard and five prioritized actions. Broader risk, devices, and the firm’s written security plan require separate scope.

Tell us what slows your team down. We'll map the next step.
